India A will look to look to begin their campaign in the ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 on winning note in a Group B clash against United Arab Emirates at the West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Friday. Jitesh Sharma-led side are set to face off against arch-rivals Pakistan in their second Group match on Friday.
Friday’s clash is set to feature 14-year-old precocious talent Vaibhav Suryavanshi from Bihar and Rajasthan Royals. Sanju Samson’s RR team had bought Suryavanshi for Rs 1.1 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction last year and he didn’t disappoint as he became the youngest centurion in history of IPL at the age of just 14 against Gujarat Titans which also was the second fastest IPL century ever off 38 balls.
India A have been placed in Group B with UAE, Oman and Pakistan. While India and Pakistan are fielding their ‘A’ sides, Oman and UAE will be coming in with their full-strength outfits.
Apart from Suryavanshi and Jitesh, Indian line-up will feature IPL 2025 stars like Priyansh Arya, Ashutosh Sharma, Naman Dhir, Suyash Sharma and Ramandeep Singh. Indians will look to improve on their showing from the last Emerging Asia Cup tournament when they lost in the semifinals to Afghanistan ‘A’ team.
