Gold Coast, April 13: In a major blow to India, star trap shooter Shreyasi Singh finished on the fifth spot with the final score of 19/30 at the women’s trap shooting event in the Commonwealth Games 2018 here on Friday. Shreyasi initially shot 6 out of 6 times but failed on the eighth attempt. However, she secure one more shot in the eighth attempt to take her tally to 7/9. In her final attempt, she again produced a perfect hit to take her tally to 8 out 10 from the first 10 shots which saw her tied on the second place. In the beginning of the elimination rounds, Shreyasi hitted four times out of five to finish joint-third with the score of 17/25.
