India B vs India C, Deodhar Trophy 2018 Final: It was a hilarious moment on the ground when Ajinkya Rahane raised his bat as he thought he had got to a hundred. He was on 97 when he did that, soon Suresh Raina let him know that he was still three runs shy of the three-figure mark. Actually, Rahane raised his bat because on the scoreboard of the ground it showed that he had got there. This bizarre incident happened during the Deodhar Trophy 2018 finals between India B and India C.
Meanwhile, India C led by Rahane won the match and the title by 26 runs. Rahane remained unbeaten on 144 off 156 balls. His innings was studded with nine fours and three sixes.
Earlier in the day, India C won the toss and opted to bat first. They scored a mammoth 352/7 in their stipulated 50 overs. Ishan Kishan too got a hundred along with Rahane, Kishan scored 114 off 87 balls.
