Virat Kohli has accepted the Fitness Kit-Up challenge by Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar where he nominated the Indian skipper along with others. While responding to Tendulkar’s challenge, Kohli nominated wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel to take up the challenge. “@sachin_rt paaji, thanks for nominating me for the Fitness kit-up Challenge, I’m kitting up to play the sport I love. I nominate @parthiv9 to kit up and share videos of the same,” wrote Kohli on Instagram. Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu, who was also nominated by Tendulkar, had earlier participated in the challenge. “I’d like to thank @sachin_rt sir for nominating me for the Fitness kit-up Challenge, I’m kitting up to play the sport I love. I nominate @MangteC @Suriya_offl @WrestlerSushil to kit up and share videos of the same,” she had written on Twitter.
Tendulkar on Thursday came up with a new ‘Kit Up Challenge’, urging people to go out, play and share a video of the same on social media. Calling it an extension of the Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore’s ‘Hum Fit Toh India Fit’ challenge, the former Indian cricketer highlighted the importance of playing a sport to stay fit and healthy in a video that he shared on his Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Apart from Kohli and Sindhu, the 45-year old had nominated woman cricketer Mithali Raj, ace shuttler Kidambi Srikanth, boxing champion Vijender Singh, and hockey star Sardar Singh to take up the challenge.
