New Delhi: The Ajit Agarkar-led selection panel announced India’s squad for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on Saturday, December 20, at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai, with T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav also present. The announcement featured a major surprise, as Shubman Gill was excluded, while Axar Patel was named vice-captain. Ishan Kishan was included as the second wicketkeeper alongside Sanju Samson.
