Ajinkya Rahane-led team India is at Bengaluru for the one-off Test against Afghanistan and first practice visuals are out. It seems the grind has started as India is not taking Afghanistan lightly, just because they are debutantes. Rahane has made it very clear in his press conference that India will leave no stone un-turned to win against Afghanistan. For Afghanistan, they will be embarking on a new chapter. They seem pretty confident considering Afghanistan skipper Asghar Stanizai’s latest’s statement where he claimed visiting spinners being better than Indian spinners. That is a big statement to make considering Indian’s are considered to be masters of spin and they have world class spinners in Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja in their team.

Here are the pictures of the Indian team hitting the ground running at Bengaluru today morning. The exclusive visuals have been shared on BCCI’s Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan would enter the historic Test brimming with confidence after they whitewashed Bangladesh 3-0 in a recently concluded T20I series. Keeping the change of formats would make a huge impact, but that will not deter their confidence, which is sky-high at the moment.

Regular team India captain Virat Kohli will miss the Test owing to a county stint with Surrey CC. But now it seems he will not be available for that as well, as he is recovering from a neck injury. Viratíans would dearly hope in recovers in time for the all-important England tour.

India would also be missing the services of regular Test wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, he is injured and has been replaced by an in-form Dinesh Karthik.

The historic Test starts from June 14-18.
