Earlier, at the end of day 1, India was 347 for 6. Ashwin and Pandya are still at the crease. It was a day that belonged to India, thanks to Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay’s centuries.
But just when it looked it was India all the way, Afghanistan managed to claw back taking wickets in clusters at the fag end of the day. Day 2 is expected to be allowing more spin. Afghanistan will look to dismiss India before lunch.
