India vs Australia 1st Test: After countering some bouncers, seemed like India captain Virat Kohli was looking to get IPL ready. Kohli hit Kuldeep Yadav for a huge one in the net session at Adelaide ahead of the first Test against hosts Australia. Kohli came down the track, to the pitch of the ball and smashed it toward the mid-wicket region. He also got the timing spot on as the sound seemed to suggest.

Here is the video:

Earlier in the session, Kohli was seen ducking to bouncers and playing them with utmost authority in order to play the chin music well as the pitches in Australia offer bounce.

The India captain is also the No 1 Test and ODI batsman in the world currently. He is also in ominous form and is seeing the ball beautifully, this above video is a testament of that and how much time he has to make a decision. The ball was fast and tested him and he was equal to the task.

India will bank heavily on Kohli as always to get among the runs. On paper, India look a better side. This is also the case because Steve Smith and David Warner are serving bans and will not feature in the upcoming four-match Test series.

From India’s point of view, it would be interesting to see who opens the batting for India, now that Prithvi Shaw has been ruled out of the Test due to a left ankle injury he picked up during the tour game.
