India vs Australia 1st Test: Banned for 12 months, former Australian skipper Steve Smith was there at the nets of SCG in order to give the fast bowlers practice ahead of the first Test against India in the first Test. Smith must have been facing good pace after some time and it showed as he was not at ease countering the Australian seamers. In fact, a Josh Hazlewood bouncer also threw him off-guard as he fell on the ground trying to hook the delivery. The speed gun was not there, but it seemed the Australian pace trio was operating at top speed. Also Read - Yaha Pe Problem Ho Rahi Hai...: Virat Kohli Responds To Ravi Shastri's Suggestion Of Taking A Break | VIDEO

According to ‘The Australian’ newspaper, the 32-year-old batsman was further invited into the Australian dressing room ahead of the third T20I against India where the visitors recorded victory by six wickets, following an unbeaten 61 by Virat Kohli.
Thanks to Kohli, the T20I series ended as a 1-1 draw. Australia won at Brisbane by four runs in a truncated match by Duckworth Lewis System and the second T20I at Melbourne was called off due to rain.
In the Tests, India will go in as favorites, they are the No 1 team in the world and in Kohli they have the best batsman in the world as well. The pace battery of the Indians look better than ever before and with Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja in red-hot form, India stands a fair chance of creating history in the Southern Hemisphere this time around.
