India vs Australia 1st Test: The current Indian team lays a lot of emphasis on fitness and India skipper Virat Kohli once again gave his fans a glimpse of the training the boys underwent ahead of the 1st Test against Australia at Adelaide. Apparently, a day after reaching Adelaide from Sydney the boys underwent circuit training which is a very new concept. Circuit training helps in body conditioning or endurance training or resistance training using high-intensity. It targets strength building or muscular endurance. An exercise “circuit” is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. Kohli took to Twitter and posted the picture of it as Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, Parthiv Patel, and Jasprit has their tongues lashing out to show how exhausted they were. The picture was captioned as, “That’s what happens when you do group circuit training!”
Earlier, Kohli who has a special bond with Australia got honoured by the Bradman Museum where they placed a signed jersey donated by Kohli after scoring his maiden hundred in the fourth Test at the SCG next to Sachin Tendulkar’s portrait.
India’s fortunes will depend a lot on Kohli when the tourists lock horns with hosts Australia for a four-match Test series. Kohli is currently the No 1 batsman in Tests and ODIs and India will hope he gets among the runs.
It would also be interesting to see if Kohli can keep a lid over his emotions as Australians are bound to provoke the India captain. Kohli has said that he feels there is no need for him to get into an altercation. The first Test starts on December 6 at Adelaide.
