India on Tuesday levelled the 4-match Test series in style with spinner R Ashwin spearheading their attack against Australia.
Ashwin’s 6/41 in the second innings made him the fastest Indian to reach 200 wickets in India.
He took 8 wickets in the match and made sure India remained in the series.

He had gone 7 innings without a five-wicket haul however he made sure his 6-wicket haul in this Test match was worthy of a match-winning performance.
This was a 25th fifer for the offie from Chennai.

With his overall wicket tally of 269 wickets, Ashwin has now overtaken Bishen Singh Bedi and is currently the 5th highest Test wicket-taker from India.
