India vs Australia 2018: Twitter bashed Rishabh Pant after the wicketkeeper pre with Prithvi Shaw on Twitter ahead of the 3rd T20I at Sydney. Fans, who were angry asked him to concentrate on his game rather than posting pictures on Twitter. Some fans also blamed Pant for the loss in the Brisbane T20I. Pant scored 15-ball 20 and was out playing an irresponsible shot. Fans felt he should concentrate on finishing games for India. Pant’s post with Shaw read, “My brother has the coolest brother… just saying.”
Here is how Twitter reacted:
In the post-match conference, India captain Virat Kohli was of the opinion that Pant’s departure tilted the decision in favour of the hosts.
“It was a close game, was a see-saw battle. Started well with the bat, fumbled in the middle overs, in the end, we thought we’ll win with Pant and Karthik but it changed again with Pant’s dismissal,” Kohli said at the post-match presentation.
Meanwhile, the Men in Blue lock horns for the last time in the three-match T20I series, Virat Kohli’s men would not be happy with anything apart from a victory at Sydney as they trail 0-1 in the ongoing series. Kohli would feel they were robbed of a win the last T20I at Melbourne when they had the hosts on the mat at 132/7 in 19 overs when rain played spoilsport.
