1st ODI Sydney: Baby girl Samaira was seen cheering for Daddy Rohit Sharma from her home in Mumbai. It was her mother Ritika Sajdeh who shared the Instagram story to give Rohit’s fans a glimpse of the activity of the baby girl. The baby girl was spotted wearing a shirt, which had ‘I love my daddy’ engraved on it. It sure does not get cuter. Rohit Sharma is featuring in the first ODI against Australia at SCG and is expected to play a big part when India start the chase. Rohit, who recently became a father, flew back to India from Australia to be with his wife at the time. He has now joined back the team and this happens to be his favoured format hence his fans would dearly hope he comes good and that the newborn brings luck for Rohit.

Here is the Instagram story:

At the time of filing the copy, Australia was 268/5 in 49 overs with Stoinis and Maxwell in the middle. The hosts will dearly be hoping for the two take the hosts past 280.

Earlier in the day, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first but did not get off to a great start as they lost their openers within the powerplay overs. Marsh, Khawaja, Handscomb hit half-centuries to resurrect the hosts to a decent stage.
