It was Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 61 off 41 balls and Krunal Pandya’s four-fer that headlined the win. India also managed to level the series 1-1. Indian cricketers Shikhar Dhawan, Ravi Shastri and Kuldeep Yadav thanked fans for their support for the blues throughout the series in an away series. India’s head coach Shastri too congratulated the team on social media for winning the 3rd T20I and levelling the 3-match series. He said, “Well done guys. Enjoy the no packing day tomorrow. One week here has been hectic with 3 time zones #TeamIndia.”
Young Kuldeep Yadav was not too far behind, as he too pitched in with views on Twitter, saying that it was a team effort that won India the match. “A complete team performance to get us across the line.”
Kohli’s India will now head into the four-match Test series with the momentum on their side and their best batsman Kohli also got among the runs which will give tourists the advantage with the first Test at Adelaide slated to start on December 6.
