India vs Australia 4th Test Sydney: Virat Kohli’s India create history in Australia as Sydney Test ends in a draw. India wins the four-match Test series 2-1 and this becomes the first traveling Indian team in 74 years of traveling Down Under to win on Australian soil. This is a massive win for India and the entire team broke into a dance after the win. Even Cheteshwar Pujara was seen dancing, he is somebody who is regarded to be a shy person. It seemed Pujara was leading the dance and the others were following his steps. It was a great moment for the entire team for playing some amazing cricket over the last couple of months. Cheteshwar Pujara bagged the Man of the series, he slammed three centuries in the course of the four Test matches.
Here is the celebratory dance:
Jasprit Bumrah starred with the ball as he picked up 21 wickets in the series and he got a special mention during the post-match presentation.
Meanwhile, India will feel they were robbed of a win at SCG as they had the hosts on the mat after enforcing a 322-run follow-on and becoming the first team to do so in 31 years. Australia will feel knowing they were outplayed during the course of the four-match Test series like Tim Paine said that they were beaten by the better team and there is no shame in that.
Kohli at the post-match presentation said that he feels very proud of what the team as a unit has achieved. He also gave a special mention to Cheteshwar Pujara and said that he is the nicest man around and also hailed Mayank Agarwal.
