India vs Australia 4th Test Sydney: On a drizzly Monday morning Virat Kohli and Tim Paine signed the captains roll of honour at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Day 5 of the ongoing 4th Test. It is a tradition that has been followed at the iconic SCG since its first international games. India leads the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2-1 and with the first session on Day 5 washed out due to rain, it seems that scoreline will not change. Kohli’s India will also create history by becoming the first Indian Test side to win a Test series on Australian soil. It will be their first time in the 74 years of traveling Down Under.
Here is the moment when Virat Kohli and his Australian counterpart signed:

The series has been dominated by India, thanks to Cheteshwar Pujara’s three centuries that made all the difference at Adelaide and in Melbourne. The emergence of Jasprit Bumrah has been the big takeaway apart from all the bowlers, be it the spinners, including Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav.
The victory signs were out at India’s photo session before the scheduled start of play on day five

Tim Paine in an interview earlier this morning with Mark Howard. He felt that it is a great opportunity to get some batting on Day 5 if the weather clears out. Reckons that it was a really good series and even though they were outplayed, he felt they fought pretty hard and will take the positives ahead, is proud of the way they gave their all. Mentions that India is a really tough team to beat right now, no. 1 in the world and a couple of guys really were in form and took the series away.
