India have been in exceptional form and Dhoni seems to have his way with the ICC tournaments, somehow getting his men to punch above their weight and fulfil the demanding nation’s expectations at the big stage. Before the start of the tournament, India were written off as a team and Dhoni has forged a winning side, taking his team to win seven on the trot. Australia have been equally solid and have been convincing barring the blip against New Zealand, where the batting collapsed spectacularly against Trent Boult. The Australians have looked imperious, crushing England and warding off Sri Lanka’s brave attempt to chase down 375. Catch the live commentary of India vs Australia with with gifs, tweets and pictures!

India have the  biggest challenge on their hands coming into this contest. Pakistan and South Africa were rusty and not upto the mark in the group stages and the team was never challenged throughout the group stages. West Indies pushed the team a bit Dhoni saw the team through while the Men in Blue comfortably saw off the other teams and Bangladesh in the quarterfinal. That will be Dhoni’s biggest challenge. Can he make the team step up against a team of top quality. The bowling lineup has managed to take all of the opponents’ wickets in each of the games so far. Can they do it again? Will the pacers step against the side that made mincemeat out of their bowling attack in the Test and ODI series preceding the tournament? Only time will tell. One thing is a given though. India will be enjoying an overwhelming majority of the support in the last game. Also Read: Catch three key battles of the match here
