India vs Australia ODI 2019: With the ODIs slated to begin in a few days time, Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell gave us an impression of MS Dhoni’s signature ‘helicopter’ shot. He talks about a time when in an ODI match Maxwell dropped MS Dhoni and of the very next ball he hit a helicopter shot for a six which was 115-metre hit and that stunned the Australian.
This happened off the bowling of James Faulkner in Australia, Maxwell recalled. Dhoni was not a part of the victorious Test squad but will be joining the team soon in Australia which will bring in a lot of experience to the table.
Here is the video where Maxwell shows his fans how it is done:
Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Khaleel Ahmed left for Australia yesterday when the Virat Kohli-led Test squad created history on Australian soil by beating them for the first time in a Test series in 71 years. Once the SCG Test was called off due to bad light and persistent rain, India were the winners 2-1.
India has now conquered almost every Test playing nations, except South Africa. With this win, India registered their 19th overseas Test series victory.
The three ODIs against Australia will start on January 12 at the SCG, which will be followed by the second ODI slated for Jan 15 (Adelaide) and finally, the third ODI will take place on Jan 18 (MCG).
After which the India team will travel to New Zealand for a limited overs series. India will play five ODIs and three T20Is. The first ODI will be played on January 23 at Napier.
