India vs Australia ODIs 2019: India opener Rohit Sharma spoke of the importance of former captain MS Dhoni in the current scheme of things and also dropped hints about the ICC World Cup squad India could field. About Dhoni, he highlighted his finishing skills and spoke of the calmness and maturity he brings to the table. He also spoke about Dhoni presence around the bunch and how it helps. In an interview to ANI, Rohit said, “Over the years we’ve seen the kind of presence he has in dressing room & on field. He also spoke about the composition for the World Cup next year, he said that squad will look very much the same as will be for the upcoming ODIs in Australia and New Zealand, which also means MS Dhoni is very much on for that. “More or less you’ll see the same squad playing the World Cup,there’ll be one or two changes keeping in mind form&injury concerns over next few months.But I don’t see any drastic change in the squad.But I still feel everything will depend on form of each player,” he added.

Both Rohit and Sir Viv have scored three centuries each against Australia in Australia.

Whereas, Rohit has taken just 16 ODIs to achieve the feat, the Windies great managed to score the same number of tons in 40 outings. Thus, if Rohit manages to score one more hundred in the upcoming series versus Kangaroos, he will reach the top of the pile.
