MS Dhoni is arguably the best-limited overs captain India has ever had. The Ranchi bomber is also a phenomenal wicketkeeper behind the stumps. He could become the fourth keeper to complete 400 dismissals in ODIs. The likes of Adam Gilchrist (417), Mark Boucher (402) and Kumar Sangakkara (383) are leading him. The Jharkhand-born is 3 catches shy of reaching the landmark and it is very much likely to do it in this series, with India slated to play 3 ODIs.

In the twilight of his career, MS Dhoni is one of the agilest and fit cricketers in the squad. The two-time World Cup winner seems to have rediscovered himself at the age of 37. During the latest edition of the Indian Premier League, not only did he lead Chennai Super Kings to victory on their comeback and personally we saw the old MS Dhoni, who likes to take on the bowlers. In 16 matches, he amassed 415 runs at a staggering average of 75.83 and a strike rate of 150+.

To reduce the workload on himself, in order to extend his international career, MSD quit Test cricket in 2014.

Since MSD has faced flak for the decision but he never stuttered on went back on his call. With promising wicketkeepers like Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson looking to replace Dhoni, the World Cup-winner is still preferred over the young Turks due to the experience he brings to the table.

Recently, he became the only wicketkeeper to take 50 catches in T20Is and he also took a total of 5 catches in the Bristol T20I, a feat no other keeper has achieved.
