India vs England 2nd Test Lord’s: And finally former batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has spilt his opinion on the recently concluded Lord’s Test that hosts England won by an innings and 159 runs. tendulkar was late in tweeting but it seems his tweet sums up the Test. Tendulkar lauded Chris Woakes, James Anderson, Stuart Broad and attributed the thumping victory to an all-round performance by the hosts. Tendulkar’s Twitter post read, “An all-round performance by England. Excellent spells of fast bowling by @jimmy9 and @StuartBroad8, with a fine performance by @chriswoakes. We’ve got to pull up our socks and produce better cricket India. #ENGvIND.”

Earlier, Tendulkar’s opening partner Virender Sehwag was also disappointed over the Indian performance. His tweet read, “Very poor from India. While we all want to stand by our team and support them when they don’t do well, going down without a fight is very disappointing to watch. Hope they have the confidence and mental strength to come back from this.”Very poor from India. While we all want to stand by our team and support them when they don’t do well, going down without a fight is very disappointing to watch. Hope they have the confidence and mental strength to comeback from this.”

India, as stated by Kohli, have to be focused on improving in all the three departments and just aim to make it 1-2 when they take on the Joe Root-led side in Nottingham.
