England scored two runs without any loss till stumps after bowling out India for 387 runs in the first innings on Saturday, the third day of the third Test match being played at Lord’s. Zak Crawley was playing after scoring two runs at the end of the game, while Ben Duckett had not yet opened his account.
England also scored 387 runs in their first innings. After the initial innings, the score of both the teams is the same. For India, Lokesh Rahul scored 100 while Rishabh Pant scored 74 and Ravindra Jadeja played a brilliant innings of 72. Chris Woakes was the most successful bowler for England. He took three wickets for 84 runs while Jofra Archer and Shoaib Bashir got one wicket each.
The openers of the England team came out to bat for just 6 minutes on the third day. In such a situation, England batsman Zak Crawley had made up his mind that he would not let two overs of play be played and would try to finish the day’s play as soon as one over was completed. In England’s second innings, Jasprit Bumrah bowled the first over for India. In this over, Zak Crawley was constantly trying to waste time and was getting ready to bat late.
