India vs England 4th Test Southampton: Kohli (440) needs 60 more runs to reach the 500-run-mark in a Test series. Among Indians, only Dravid (602 in 2002) and Gavaskar (542 in 1979) have done this. Dravid had also scored 461 in 2011.

If he does well, invariably India’s chances of winning shoots up. Kohli has three milestones in his sight. knowing Kohli, he will surely have it at the back of his mind.
- Kohli (5,994) needs six more runs to reach the 6000-run-mark in Test cricket. If he does it, which he will in all likelihood he will breach. He not only has the chance to do that but he will also be in line to breeze past Gundappa Viswanath (6,080) and secure the 9th position on the list.
- Kohli has played 118 Test innings. He stands a realistic chance of becoming the second fastest after Sunil Gavaskar (116). Tendulkar reached the landmark in 120 innings, while Rahul Dravid had taken 125.
