The last match of the five-match Test series between India and England is being played at The Oval ground in London. Ollie Pope won the toss and decided to bowl first. On the first day affected by rain, the Indian team has scored 204 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Karun Nair is playing unbeaten on 52 and Washington Sundar on 19.
In the first four Test matches, the Indian team, led by relatively less experienced Shubman Gill, has given a tough fight to host England. Despite a close defeat by 22 runs at Lord’s and a five-wicket defeat at Leeds, the Indian team retaliated by securing a big win of 336 runs in Birmingham. In Manchester too, they showed their fighting ability by averting an almost certain defeat.
