England’s stand-in captain, Ollie Pope, was seen talking with umpire Kumar Dharmasena. Around 15 minutes of play remain, but the light is getting weaker. The light meters were brought out, and Pope was apparently given the choice to use only spin bowlers. He turned it down, likely because he knows Jaiswal is strong against spin and could take advantage.

It was a fast, flat shot, and it looks like he may have lost sight of the ball, possibly because of the sunlight or the stadium lights.

On the other hand, KL Rahul is taking his time, he hasn’t scored from his first nine balls. He’s leaving everything outside off, making Tongue and Atkinson bowl straighter to get him to play.
