India vs England 5th Test: Hanuma Vihari Debuts For India as England Elect to Bat
India vs England 5th Test: Hanuma Vihari became the 292nd Test player to represent India after he was handed his maiden cap. He will replace Hardik Pandya, while Ravindra Jadeja comes in place of Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing XI.
England captain Joe Root won the toss and elected to bat against India in the fifth and final Test at The Oval on Friday. Having already won the series 3-1, Joe Root’s England will be the more confident side going into the dead rubber. The English team has been the better side and would like to give a perfect send-off to Alastair Cook, who would be playing his last Test for England.
India, on the other hand, has the chance to finish on a high and as Kohli has stated, that is exactly what they will be after.
