It would not be wrong to say that Chopra’s first-love is undoubtedly – ‘Commentary’. On Wednesday, the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) inducted the ex-Test cricketer Chopra in his their newly-formed Cricket Committee led by swashbuckling former India opener Virender Sehwag.

Despite being included in the famed list, Chopra has expressed his love for commentary in his later Twitter post when a fan posted a query about his role in the commentator’s box. A fan asked – “Sir ab aap #ddca ki cricket committee ke member ban gye hain kya ab aap cricket commentary karna toh nhi chhodenge? @cricketaakash”.

Replying to the query, the Agra-born cricketer wasted no time in indicating his fondness for commentary. He replied, “No, my friend. 🙌😊”

The 40-year old also owns a mobile application which provides his fans all the latest updates about the upcoming matches, squad analysis and his personal point of view before an important series.

To connect with his large fan base, Mr. Chopra takes the help of social media, where he remains an active user to remain engaged in one way or the other.

Recently, Chopra made headlines while enjoying a vacation in Indonesia when he fooled his followers into believing that he paid a whopping 7 lakh rupees for a single meal. Indonesia, which is known as one of the affordable exotic holiday tourism destinations for middle-class Indian families because of the relatively lower currency, tweeted a picture of his food bill at one of the restaurants in Bali.

His food bill which indicated the restaurant named ‘Indian Tandoor’ comprised of five different Indian delicacies and three bottles of water.
