Former English spinner Graeme Swann called Yuzvendra Chahal “Like a dog chasing a frisbee” after Chahal takes a run in the 2nd ODI at Lords. It was during Swann’s commentary stint in the box that he made this unwanted comment. Yuzvendra Chahal was the last man batting in the match, at a stage when India had lost the match, literally. Chahal scored 12 off 12 balls as Kuldeep remained not out on 8 runs. With no hope of making a comeback, it seemed Chahal along with Kuldeep at the other end was having some fun, typical tailenders, one may add. Also Read - Mohammed Siraj Makes Big Revelation on Racial Attacks in Australia From Crowd, Says Umpires Offered us Option to Leave Sydney Test Midway

India eventually lost the match, but not before Chahal hit his first boundary in ODI cricket. It was a straight drive, which he also celebrated by raising his bat, which brought smiles and laughter on faces of the Indian players at the Lord’s balcony.

Chahal ended with figures of 1/43 in his stipulated quota of 10 overs. Chahal has been combing well with Kuldeep Yadav who has been among the wickets this English summer. Kuldeep picked 6/27 in the 1st ODI, registering the fourth-best figures by an Indian in an ODI. Kuldeep has been the biggest threat for the visitors. In the batting department, Rohit Sharma has been firing along with KL Rahul. Both the batsman will hold the key when India takes on England in the decider at Leeds, Headingley.

If India wins the last ODI, they pip England to go to No 1 in the ICC rankings. Currently, England is No 1.
