India vs New Zealand 2019: India completed New Zealand’s annihilation with another thoroughly professional performance in the fifth and final ODI of the series in Wellington. After a minor blip in Hamilton, Team India was once again on the mark in the last match of the ODI rubber. In some jovial mood after the match, the Indian players shared some light moments on the field after completing a historic victory over Black Caps.

Known to share a great camaraderie among themselves – BCCI had earlier started a new segment named ‘Chahal TV’ on which spinner Yuzvendra Chahal interviews the bright performer from the team after the match. After a series victory, when the players were chitchatting with each other, Chahal was seen running behind legendary MS Dhoni and the latter evaded him to go into the dressing room to leave everyone in the splits.

In the past, the likes of Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara have all appeared in this hilarious segment. The funny tradition of ‘Chahal TV’ has begun since the ODI series against Australia which preceded the New Zealand tour.

All the cricketers, at the end of the video, also promote the program and suggest everyone to make a special contribution to the team’s cause. Dhoni is not known to attend many interviews and tries to keep himself away from the limelight.

As far as Dhoni’s contribution in the fifth ODI is concerned, the veteran failed with the bat. He got a peach of a delivery from Trent Boult and was a part of the top-order collapse to leave India reeling at 18/4.

However, Dhoni produced a moment of brilliance behind the stumps to outsmart big-hitting Kiwi all-rounder James Neesham. His smartness bluffed Neesham, who was looking dangerous to take the game away from the men in blue.
