New Delhi: Indian opener Rohit Sharma has trolled his former teammate Harbhajan Singh and TV anchor Vikrant Gupta in one of his tweets. Rohit, who scored only five runs against New Zealand in the second T20 international, replied to a tweet by Vikrant which suggested how India should go about chasing 197.
Vikrant while quoting Harbhajan tweeted: “Bhajju @harbhajan_singh feels 197 chaseble but Rohit-Shikhar have to play out the new ball [sic].”

Rohit after the match, which India lost by 40 runs, replied, “such a valid point we didn’t realise,” perhaps in a sarcastic manner.

However, after Rohit’s tweet, the TV anchor replied “Never mind champ. There’s always a tomorrow”

India after winning the opening match lost the subsequent game at Rajkot. The hosts were given a target of 197, however, they managed only 156/7 in 20 overs. With this win, New Zealand managed to draw level in the series.
The teams now lock horns in the third and final T20I on November 07 (Tuesday) at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Just like the One-Day International (ODI) series, India will be hoping to emerge victorious in the series decider.
