New Delhi: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, on Friday, was seen cheering for her husband Virat Kohli on the Day 1 of the opening Test between India and South Africa, being played in Cape Town. Virat-Anushka, who got hitched in a private ceremony in Tuscany, Italy on December 11, 2017, threw wedding reception in Delhi and Mumbai an then headed to South Africa where team India is playing the Proteas on their home turf for two months which includes three Tests, six One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.

Anushka, who was recently spotted shopping with his hubby in Cape Town, was present in the Newlands stadium today to cheer for Kohli for the first time after their wedding. Check out the pictures here:

Even after getting support from her wife, Kohli failed to deliver and fell after scoring just 5 runs. Indian skipper, who has had serious problems with moving deliveries on the ‘fourth stump’ found Morne Morkel getting one to rear from the back of the length with a shade away movement.

Earlier, Men in Blue bowled out South Africa for 286 after the hosts elected to bat after winning the toss. However, Murali Vijay (1), Shikhar Dhawan (16) and Kohli (5) all lost their wickets within 11 overs of play of the Indian innings, which put South Africa in dominating position. Total of 13 wickets fell in the day.
