India lost the wicket of Abhinav Mukund for 81 in the last ball of the third day’s play. With Mukund’s dismissal, the 134 runs third wicket partnership was broken. Kohli will resume his innings on 76 on day four. India in their second innings lost opener Shikhar Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara early, but opener Abhinav Mukund and skipper Virat Kohli got there going.

On the other hand,  Kohli, who scored three in the first innings,  will eye for his 17th Test hundred. With two days left, India already have an edge over the hosts in the first Test.
