India vs West Indies 1st ODI at Guwahati: It was heartwarming to see India captain Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja engage in a celebratory jig after dismissing centurion Shimron Hetmyer for 106. It seemed both were in a happy mood and their jig is a testament to that. Here is the fun video of the two having their moment on the field.
Meanwhile, Hetmyers scored 106 off 78 balls and his innings comprised of six fours and sixes.
Earlier in the day, Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to field first. The Windies got off to a decent start but then wickets started falling. The touring Windies was reduced to 122/4 and it seemed they would crumble, but Hetmyer got support from Hope, Powell and Holder to help Windies post a daunting 320 for India to chase.
For India, Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the bowlers, he picked three wickets, whereas Jadeja and Shami picked up two wickets apiece.
It would be interesting to see which position Rishabh Pant comes in at. In all probability, regular openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma will open the batting and Virat Kohli will come in at No 3, followed by Ambati Rayadu.
