India and West Indies are battling in the first T20 and the highlight of the match thus far has been Evin Lewis who out of nowhere cut loose and belted Stuart Binny for five sixes in a row. Lewis was spectacular in getting an innings of exactly a 100 off a mere 49 balls before losing his wicket. West Indies were quite spectacular one has to say. They got 245 for 6 in 20 overs after being put into bat. It was all West Indies right from the beginning as they unleashed their batting might on the Indian bowlers like no tomorrow. This is of course a short two-match series and a win here in the first match will give any team much confidence in looking for a clean sweep. (Watch Free Cricket Live Streaming of PAK vs ENG on Star Sports and PTV Sports)

This match is of course the action replay of the T20 World Cup semifinal where West Indies shocked India. Such has been the confidence of West Indies that they have continued with no disappointment what so ever as far as the Test series is concerned. Well it all comes down to the confidence of playing the shortest format extremely well even if they had lost the Test series recently.

The conditions in Florida are quite superb for batting and Johnson Charles also made merry. Opening the batting with Lewis, he clubbed 79 off 33 balls and was all over the Indian bowlers. For India, none of the bowlers had decent figures, although Jasprit Bumrah did pick two scalps.

It was these two openers, Lewis and Charles, who were enough for the total to balloon up as fours and sixes were hit like it was a benefit match as ball after ball flew from their bats. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli of course will be the key for India as they have a huge total staring in front of them. India will need multiple batsmen to share the workload as things will get sticky if they rely on any one man in particular.

The batting conditions look perfect with the sun beating down hard. While this series is on a neutral venue, India will be disappointed if they cannot make a great match of it with West Indies looking hot in T20 cricket. This of course is not the case as far as the longest format is concerned as we have seen earlier.

MS Dhoni is another man who will be key as he is back in town, leading India and will be closely watched in the latter stages of the match. How he goes, only time will tell but there is little doubt that he will hold the key if the chase gets tricky in the last five overs. As of now, India will have to think about preserving wickets and not lose their cool under pressure despite scoreboard pressure which will kick in sooner than later we think.
