India vs West Indies 1st Test Day 1 Rajkot: KL Rahul again became the troll object on Twitter after he departed without scoring against West Indies in the ongoing first Test at Rajkot. Rahul was trapped in front, not offering a shot and the umpire gave him out. He consulted with debutant Prithvi Shaw and went for the review. But the replays showed that the ball was hitting the stumps and the decision stood. Rahul was out for a duck. Another worrying fact about him is that he has been leg before wicket or bowled in his last eight innings.
Social sphere came to life after this happened and the netizens trolled him. Twitter feels whenever he gets out he takes a review along with him and some on Twitter felt Indian team needs coaching on when to use the DRS.
Earlier in the day, India won the toss and Kohli had no hesitation in opting to bat first on a placid track in Rajkot. At the time of filing the copy, India was 35/1 and Shaw was on 24.
