India vs West Indies 2nd ODI: India captain Virat Kohli’s 37th century may not have ensured an Indian win as the game ended in a tie, but it won millions of hearts on the social sphere. After Virender Sehwag’s quirky tweet, Mumbai Police came up with something better and stole the show.
Mumbai Police took to Twitter after Kohli became the fastest to amass 10,000 ODI runs. Their post read, “No over-speeding challan here, just accolades & best wishes for more @imVkohli ! Many congratulations on your amazing feat!”

Earlier, Virender Sehwag took to Twitter and his quirky post read, “Software update all the time. Virat Kohli has redefined what consistency means. Got his 9000th odi run just 11 innings ago and got his 10000 th today, to go with his 37th century. Enjoy the phenomena #KingKohli.”

Meanwhile, thanks to Shai Hope’s second ODI century, the touring Windies side managed to tie the match. But the day belonged to Kohli as he scaled Mount 10K. He is the fastest to the landmark and only the fourth Indian to put a foot there.
He also became the fastest to score 1000 ODI runs in a calendar year, surpassing Hashim Amla to the feat.
Kohli now has 60 Man of the Mtach+ Man of the Series awards combined which makes him third in the elite list. He surpassed Kumar Sangakkara (59), Ricky Ponting (59). Sachin Tendulkar is at the top of the list on this with a whopping 95 to his name.
