India vs West Indies 2nd ODI: India captain Virat Kohli became the fastest cricketer on the planet to reach the 10,000-run mark pipping Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar to the feat. He brought up the landmark during the 2nd ODI against the Windies side after India won the toss and opted to bat first. He had also brought up his 36th ODI century against the same opposition in Guwahati. Kohli has breached this figure in his 205th ODI innings.
