India vs West Indies 2nd Test: Umesh Yadav bagged the Man of the Match for his record-breaking 10-fer which helped India beat West Indies by 10 wickets to win the second Test at Hyderabad and blank the Windies 2-0. But a fortnight ago, the same cricketer who is now the toast of the nation was spotted making a small request to a Jet Airways staff and the staff did not oblige. The cricketer may not have liked it but never misbehaved which speaks a lot about the good character of the cricketer.

The video of the episode was posted by an Indian journo from a renowned media house after the cricketer bagged the MOM. His post read, “Just a fortnight back, @jetairways staff were not willing to listen to Umesh Yadav’s minor request. Umesh was reluctant to use his status in this case which was not unreasonable. But that says a lot about the man.”

In the video, we see Umesh from the back, he is standing and fidgetting with his mobile phone when an airline staff comes near him and takes off the tag. A lot of baggage was kept there, but in the same video, we do not hear anything from Umesh.

Meanwhile, Umesh was on a hat-trick twice in the Test match. Earlier Pant, Shaw, Rahane’s half-centuries helped India take a 56-run lead.  A fiery Umesh along with Jadeja skittled the Windies for 127, which meant India needed 72 to win.

Then it was Prithvi shaw (33*), KL Rahul (33*) that took India home.
