India vs West Indies 3rd ODI: It is a phenomenal habit to have, India captain Virat Kohli slammed his 38th ODI century, his third on the trot and his fourth consecutive on Indian soil. He joined AB de Villiers to become only other cricketer with most consecutive centuries on Indian soil. Kohli now has four centuries on the trot. Kohli has slammed a 113 against New Zealand in October 2017 and then he has two more to his name at Guwahati and Vizag.
The South African got this record over a span of two tours in 2010 and 2011. Given the kind of surreal form he is in, nothing seems to be out of Kohli’s reach. He also became the fastest to 6000 ODI runs in Asia surpassing Tendulkar to the landmark.

Here is how Twitter reacted once Kohli got his 38th ODI ton.
Used to switch our TV’s off when Sachin got out cause we knew India was about to lose. Switching my tv off now when Virat walks in cause it’s a given he’s going to smack every one around. Cricket becomes very predictable with him on the crease. Mars maybe? @BCCI @imVkohli — Kunal Kapoor (@KunalCricket) October 27, 2018
“This guy is next level” is now an understatement for Virat Kohli !! — Ajit Jain🇮🇳 (@ajitj1) October 27, 2018
