Chasing 284 to win, this was not the start India was after.

Meanwhile, there is no stopping Kohli as he went to become the fastest to 6000 ODI runs in Asia, he got to the landmark in merely his 117 innings. Tendulkar, who was the previous fastest took 142 ODI innings to get to the landmark.

In the second ODI, Kohli became the fastest to 10,000 runs in world cricket. He also stands a chance to join AB de Villiers if he scores a century at Pune. He will join the South African to register the most number of consecutive centuries in ODIs in Indian soil. Kohli already has 37 ODI centuries to his name and 60 tons in total in international cricket apart from being the No 1 batsman in the world.

At the time of filing the copy, India was 96/2 in 20 overs, they lost Rohit early in the chase and then Dhawan too departed for 35 off 45 balls. India needs 188 to win off 30 overs.
