India vs West Indies 3rd ODI: India captain slammed his 38th ODI century to become the only Indian to score three consecutive tons. He also became the only cricketer to smash four on the trot on Indian soil, he joins AB de Villiers to that record. Kohli brought up his 38th ton in 113 balls, chasing 283 set by the touring Windies team.

He also becomes the first captain to score three consecutive centuries and also becomes the first player to score four consecutive centuries against an opposition (v Windies).

Earlier in the day, Kohli became the fastest to 6000 ODI runs in Asia, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar to the feat. Kohli also joined Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly to become the only cricketers to score 8000 runs in international cricket in India.


Kohli also joined Kumar Sangakkara and Ricky Ponting to become only the third batsman to score 8000+ runs batting at No 3.

He also joined Sourav Ganguly, AB de Villiers to become the only captain to score most centuries in an ODI series/tournament.
