India vs West Indies 3rd T20I at Chepauk: India won a last-ball thriller to whitewash Windies 3-0. Facing the last ball was Manish Pandey who had just walked into bat remained unbeaten on four off six balls as Dinesh Karthik did not score as he did not face a ball. But, Karthik did well to take off for a run after Manish Pandey practically played the ball straight back to the bowler with India needing one off the last ball. The Men in Blue would be thanking their lucky stars as Fabien Allen the bowler could not hold on to the ball, as there was another fielder backing, he too missed it as the Indian duo completed the run and took India to a win.

Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan lost Rohit Sharma early for four off six balls chasing 182 to win. Dhawan carried on from there as KL Rahul too departed for 17 off 10 balls. Finally, Rishabh Pant joined in Dhawan, the other Delhi boy to take India close to victory. Pant’s fantastic knock came to an end for 58 off 38 balls. Dhawan went for the glory short but lost his wicket for 92 off 62 balls. The duo together stitched a partnership of 130 runs for the third wicket to take India edge past Windies in a thriller by six wickets.
