India vs West Indies 4th ODI at Brabourne Stadium: Rohit Sharma joined Sachin Tendulkar when he hit the ball out of the stadium to become the second most six-hitter for India in ODIs at the Brabourne Stadium during the 4th ODI. But what made the news was Ritika Sajdeh’s reaction after his humongous hit.
Ritika has always been a big fan of Rohit and once again that aspect was on display when he was nearing the hundred, she was biting her nails.
At the time of filing the copy, India was 246/2 in 39 overs. Rohit was on 119 off 116 balls and Rayudu was on 69 off 60 balls.
Rohit equaled Tendulkar’s record of 195 sixes with that hit. Rohit Sharma hit the penultimate ball of the fifth over for a massive six over mid-wicket. Rohit also slammed his 21st ODI century to join Sourav Ganguly for most centuries by Indians in ODI cricket. Rohit had also hit his 20th ODI century in the first ODI, he remained unbeaten on 152 as India beat the Windies by eight wickets.
Earlier in the day, Kohli won the toss and opted to bat first. Sharma and Dhawan got India off to a good start before India lost their first wicket with the score on 71 in the 11th over. Kohli had one of those rare bad days when he was out for 16 off 17 balls.
