India vs West Indies 4th ODI at Brabourne Stadium Match Report: Rohit Sharma’s breathtaking 162 off 137 balls helped India take a 2-1 lead at Brabourne Stadium in the fourth ODI. Windies batting failed to make an impression as India won the match easily at the end. Kohli won the toss and opted to bat first and the batters responded well. Ambati Rayudu also justified the faith shown in him at No 4 by slamming a ton. Kohli for a change did not get among the runs as he departed for 16 off 17 balls. Some big hits and good cricket helped India set a mammoth 378 for Windies to chase.
Sharma also joined Hamilton Masakadza to become the only batsmen in the history of ODI cricket to register two 150+ scores in a single series. For Windies, Jason Holder was the lone man standing tall as he registered his seventh ODI fifty but that was never going to be good enough chasing 378. Khaleel Ahmed impressed with the ball as he picked up three wickets. Kuldeep Yadav also picked up a couple and some brilliant effort in the field ensured Windies were never going to get to the total set by India.
Eventually, India won the match by 224 runs. This is India’s biggest victory against a Test-playing nation.
