India vs West Indies 4th ODI at Brabourne Stadium: Ravindra Jadeja beat India captain Virat Kohli to the ball after Hemraj stroked the ball in between point and covers. Jadeja was stationed at point and Kohli was at covers. Both gave it their best while chasing the ball but Jadeja eventually reached the ball faster than Kohli and then he flicked it to Kohli who send the throw across to MS Dhoni. This Indian team takes a lot of pride in their fielding and that was apparent at Brabourne stadium, Kohli and Kuldeep hitting bull’s eye. But the Jadeja-Kohli chase to the ball stole the show.
Here is the video.
Meanwhile, India beat Windies by 224 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match ODI series. Earlier, after winning the toss India opted to bat first and set Windies a mammoth 378 to win, thanks to blistering tons by Rohit Sharma (162) and Ambati Rayudu (100).
None of the Windies batsmen got going with only captain Jason Holder getting to his seventh fifty, but that was never going to be enough for the touring side. For India, Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav with three wickets apiece were the pick of the bowlers.
Rohit Sharma for his 21st century bagged the Man of the Match.
India will now lock horns with the Windies in the last ODI on November 1.
