India vs West Indies 5th ODI: India captain Virat Kohli seems to be winning hearts on-the-field and off-it too. Ahead of the final ODI at Trivandrum, Kohli met a special fan and gave him a special gift he will cherish for all his life. Kohli interacted with the fan, met his mother and gave him an autographed picture of himself. The disabled fan could not keep a lid on his emotion when all of this was happening, just goes to show how cricketers are worshipped in India.

Earlier, Virat Kohli won the Man of the Series for his splendid batting display throughout the five-match ODI series which India won 3-1. Chasing a small target of 105, vice-captain Rohit Sharma slammed an unbeaten half-century to power India to an easy nine-wicket victory over Windies in the fifth and final ODI in Thiruvananthapuram.
Also, this is India’s sixth consecutive series triumph at home, their last series defeat came against South Africa in 2015, where they lost a closely fought five-ODI series 2-3.
Meanwhile, India had won the first and fourth ODIs comfortably. The second match ended in an exciting draw while the visitors outplayed India in the third ODI to claim their first and only victory of the tour.
West Indies: 103 all out in 31.5 overs (Holder 25; Ahmed 2/29, Jadeja 4/33, Bumrah 2/11).
India: 105/1 in 14.5 overs (Rohit Sharma not out 63, Virat Kohli not out 33).
