India dominated the 1st Test against West Indies, winning by an innings and 140 runs, with brilliant performances from KL Rahul, Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav sealing a comprehensive victory.

India took complete control of the second day's play, taking a 286-run lead. This lead is proving challenging for the inexperienced West Indies batting line-up on this pitch. The day was special as three Indian batsmen scored centuries. KL Rahul, after a slow start, reached his second home Test century, while Dhruv Jurel, after Gill's dismissal, showed confidence and composure to advance to his maiden Test century. Ravindra Jadeja played aggressively initially but then regained composure to reach his century. West Indies exerted pressure for some time but could not sustain it for long. The third day presents a big challenge for them whether they will make a comeback or India will move on to victory will be decided tomorrow.
