India vs West Indies Tests: He became India’s 294th Test cricketer, but Shardul Thakur’s debut did not go as planned as he picked up an injury and missed out the rest of the Test at Hyderabad. All he managed to bowl was 10 balls before he was seen holding his groin in pain as he walked off the ground. After India managed to post an emphatic 10 wicket win at Hyderabad, the Mumbai pacer took to Instagram and made an emotional post, which read, “Not quite the kind of Test debut one would have hoped for, but the moment I wore my whites and the Test cap no. 294, it gave me the sense of pride, honour and courage to go out there and give it all. I vow to come back fitter and stronger from this injury and get back soon into the mix. Thank you everyone for your love and support so far.” Also Read - IND vs ENG: Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane Arrive in Chennai For India vs England 1st Test
