India beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the third ODI to emphatically clinch the three-match ODI series 3-0. Set a target of 124, India got to the required runs in 21.5 overs. KL Rahul was the top scorer. He made 63 not out. Earlier, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 123 in 42.2 overs. Jasprit Bumrah bagged 4 wickets in the match. It is over to the T20 series now. Zimbabwe have not looked convincing in this ODI series. They have just not been able to hold their own as far as the batting is concerned. They need players who can dig deep and get some sort of a score against their name. The conditions in Harare are not the easiest for batting and that has not helped the Zimbabwean cause. India on the other hand are confident considering their performance and body language in the tournament in general. Their bowlers once again came to the party as far as this third match was concerned. We will wait and watch if Zimbabwe can put up a challenge in the T20 series. It is an important series for Zimbabwe.
They have pretty much looked a bit listless in general and they would require something special to turn this around. India will of course not serve them anything on the platter.
