Indian Premier League 2019: Indian all-rounder Kedar Jadhav seems to be upbeat after Chennai Super Kings retained the pocket-sized dynamo ahead of the player auctions next month. Like Harbhajan Singh, Kedar Jadhav took to Twitter to thank the franchise for retaining him. His post read, “I truly appreciate for being retained in CSK for IPL2019. Thank You @ChennaiIPL, eager to wear the yellow jersey again. #WhistlePodu #IPL2019.” Also Read - Saw Sachin Tendulkar Dance First Time: Harbhajan Singh Remembers Night of 2011 World Cup Win
Kedar Jadhav picked up a hamstring injury in the first match of the last season, due to which he had to miss out on the entire tournament. David Willey was brought to replace him. Jadhav has been unsettled ever since missing out on the IPL for CSK as injuries have marred his progress.
The lower-middle order batsman has played a total of 65 games in the IPL and amassed 917 runs at an average of 24.13 and strike rate of over 134. He also has three fifties to his name in the competition.
Earlier, Harbhajan Singh had also taken to Twitter and thanked the CSK scouts for retaining him. His post read, “Extremely delighted to be a part of the
#YellowArmy in 2019! Let the whistles begin!”
